2009 to 2011, a hell lot of difference

Before writing this post, had checked out the previous blogs i have written and i think i was much better writer than i am now.

From fleet marketing officer of sambalpur divisional office to the consumer sales officer of sambalpur, the life has changed dramatically. Earlier, i had the luxury of time to do the things i wished to but now, i am completely controlled by so many external things that i end up having no time for myself.

in previous post, i had written at least one person would read my blog in a year, but i, myself opened the age after 2.5 years and zero blogging in 2010. And to the utter disappointment i had to Google my blog site as i forget even the name of my blog.

Well, now i cannot promise that i can maintain this blog anymore. lastly i would expect it to open at least once in a year or even before 2015.

My New DELL Studio Laptop

Well. i am very happy to have a new dell studio Laptop with 4GB ram, but only dissatisfaction is that my OS is Windows Vista. Anyways i am satisfied for the work i do as i have grown up old as another Year has Started and i am less interested in downloading and the all the techie stuff which i did on the HP Pavillion t220i desktop and my Compaq V5000 Laptop, when i was a teen.

Long gone are those days when i used to be a teen, those beautiful days of smoke and dust on a green. These days i cant even find time to write a blog, not because i am busy in am work, but because of the simple reason i am LAZY. I pray myself to be more active and enterprising, as it will reward me one way or the other.

The only reason i am writing this blog is i want at least one reader in one year to read my blog so that my writing of this blog is not a waste. I know it is a much more to hope at this point of time as i am not updating it regularly, But i will be TRYING to regularly come with some or the other intersting thing.

Well, it has been a long time i am posting. Well this is just a test text which i am checking to get back into the habit of blogging.

Now at this moment i have completed my MBA focused in Oil & Gas Sector from IPMG (Institute of Petroleum Management).

I am Placed in Indian Oil Corporation Limited. Well as of now that's it.

Taj Residency Ummed, Ahmedabad

This is my first blog in this year as well in my MBA. I am right now pursuing my PGDM(post graduate diploma in management) focussed in Oil & Gas sector. This field intersted me before joining the course,now its more than interesting. Now this sector is everything to me as it is my future. I regret myself for updating my blog for so long time as thought of updating my blog regularly before joining the management course,but the time is so limited here that blog obviously falls down the priority list.

Well what me write now is that there is some free time as its the start of the second term,and importantly today our college IPMG had a party in taj residency ummed at ahmedabad. The party basically was organised by D.J pandian,Vice chairman and managing director of GSPC. It was basically organised by pandian himself to know each of 60 persons more closely. All our professors were there,it was good but was not that much that i had expected. Some students spoke about their experiences of term 1 and all the professors spoke. Then it was followed by buffet dinner. The dinner was ok, as the roti was not good and the rice was good.

So,at this point still waiting for some more parties asthey were promised by D.J Pandian.

D-day:its all over

So,finally the D-day has come and gone.Its all over now,so the time has come for every one to relax and keep the fingers crossed. The key for CAT 2006 have been put up many institutes,and they are many ambiguties in english as far as i have seen.So,its all over now,its now just upto the IIM's to their part of work now.

Now i am in real dilemma,whether to go for MBA or GRE,as both have been equally moderate.And at this moment i cant give up anything as i am still not secured about the next.So its really hard time,and still not able to decide exactly what to take up.

I am finally relaxing in two minds,not really thinking about the next.Living with the present.Coming to CAT 2006,the papers for me was not really easy as it was for everyone.I even think that paper was not so easy because,english was tougher than the last year with 5 options resembling every other option.so naturally chosing one from five is more difficult and not convincing like chossing one from four. Coming to DI,it was rather the same,i mean the difficulty compared to 2005 was almost same and no surprises in this section.The biggest surpise was the quant section,it was relatively easy than the last 4-5 years.This easiness in quant is so much hyped that it is shawdowing the rest of the papers,which was almost of the so called CAT standard.

Nobody would have surmised the number of questions eventhough they might have given Mock CATS of the same format,it was just another surprise. So finally it has been another typical CAT paper is what i feel.

And the time has come to relax,recharge and repair,not for LIFE but for CAT

Nearing to the day

As the CAT is fast approaching,its seems like nearing the road to nowhere with so much less preparation.it was better last year as i had not prepared and had taken it as one more paper and getting 90 percentile was easy.This time the pressure is there and the need to do after wasting almost a year ,i am feeling the very bit of pressure. Anyways its better feeling the pressure in earlier stage of life than later.

Anyways,whatever happens ,it doesnt really matter much. What really matter to me is how i react to the situation and people make me react to it. It will be good that people dont put extra pressure on me. And Also high time for me brush with with the basics i have one,cover some important points and analyse some strong and weak areas. But u never know CAT is a pack of surprises as everyone says,then again u need to have the required preparation for it,you should never led by it in a negative way

And whatelse,Hoping for the CAT to go on smoothly and make something useful of the result,as i have wasted almost an year for it,eventhough i did nothin for it,thats my mistake.So right now looking as another day coming as

Hot Afternoon in Club 8

This time i am back with a bang, I had alcohol and beer after nearly 3 months.This is the first time i went for a pub in hyderabad. All this started when on saturday i called back a unknown missed call local landline number. Oh,it was swaroop back in hyderabd bunking his classes of IMT,Ghaziabad.so we planned out to meet the next day,it was Monday.

It was monday and it was already 10AM,woke up so late again. So i called to ask him when are we going to meet,he was asleep and so i got ready so that he will call up in a while.After some he called me up and told that he will call me up when he will start up in his home.

It was pleasent meeting some one of my college after so many days. I was overwhemled by seeing him,and reminiscencing the old college days,they have become really old becouse it has been three months since we are out of college now.We met at hyderbad central,punjagutta.We chatted for a while and moved onto prasad Imax for watching Vikramarkudu(telugu movie),but presently there was no show.so as he was hungry we moved onto McDonalds,there we decided to forfeit my class and move to some bar.

First we went to BNC(Bottles and chimneys)begumpet,but were heavily disappointed as we were not allowed due to the dresscode(no sandals allowed,only shoes).Sp we moved onto CluB 8 ,and Gosh it was as if i was in heaven again on HOT AFTERNOON.so we started with a beer and we were quaffing,and next we ordered BLENDERS PRIDE ON THE ROCKS.so we both enjoyed a couple of on the rocks each.The music played here awesome as we heard some of the classics of bob dylan,elvis presley and pink floyd.Time was racing at a rapid speed and it was already 7PM,so we now decide for the movie which we have planned it earlier.so went there collected the tickes and had a lazy walk on the necklace road and were back in hall at the start of the movie,7.45PM.

After the movie at 10.30,We bid farewell and had planned to meet again.
